Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh was born March 30 1853 and died on July 29, 1890. His hometown was Zundert, Netherlands, and he was born into a family of 5 other siblings. His Father, Theodore Van Gogh, was an art dealer, while his mother, Anna Carbentus Gogh, looked after Vincent. Van Gogh was sent to Jan Provilys boarding school for his education.
He was alive for the Crimean War and Fransco Prussian War. He was also alive when Claude Monet painted "impression, sunrise" during the panic of 1873. He also was alive when the statue of libertys head was on display in france.
Van Gogh never found love, struggles with mental ilness, and was poor for most of his adult life. Van Gogh liked to use water colors. He wasnt a part of the Renisaunce Era or the Impressionism Era.
His 3 most famous pieces are Starry Night, Ireses, and Wheat Field With Crows
Starry Night is his most famous piece, depicting a town late at night, when there are no clouds in the sky and the stars shining brightly over the town.
A Wheatfield With Crows is my famorite piece, it shows a Wheatfield bathed in the sun, with a flock of crows beginning to take flight. Its a very pretty piece.
